What is information literacy?
Information literacy is a set of learning skills and critical thinking needed to access, evaluate, and use information effectively. Students with high literacy information have the capacity not only to browse through a wide variety of research information systems, but also evaluate them and select them. Understand how information is organized, which may facilitate their way to find information.
Critical thinking and analytical skills also help students in terms of cognitive skills required to evaluate and use information at any point in their lives.
Learning to learn is at the heart of information literacy, which ultimately increases the sense of discovery, the inquisitive spirit and zest for lifelong learning.
