B-on has a new image

b-on, the digital service of the Foundation for Science and Technology (FCT), developed by FCCN, marks 2025 as a year of new developments. It presents a new image and identity: more innovative and cohesive.
The rebranding reinforces the service’s connection to FCT and aligns it with the new identity of FCCN. With a modern personality, its base colors are black and white, closely linked to FCCN, and it develops a representative element associated with its area of operation and the chromatic identity it aims to convey.
The distinguishing colors reveal the technological area of activity of FCCN to which it belongs. In this case, b-on falls within the Scientific Knowledge Area, represented here by the color purple. This shade was chosen to ensure a connection with the activity it promotes and to allow clear and consistent identification of all its digital services
