Elsevier – Publishing conditions 2024

• Eligibility​
  • Responsible corresponding author affiliated to any b-on member institution. This is the author that submits the article on the platform and undergoes the Author Journey on the platform.​
  • Article type: no restrictions; ​
  • Article accepted for publication on date between January 1^st to December 31^st 2024;​
• Publication route
  • Hybrid journals: up to a maximum of 2329 articles in 2024, in one journal from the publish list;​
  • GOA Journals: 10% discount in any Gold Journal from the list that can be found here;​
• How to benefit from OA conditions:​
  1. When the article is accepted, the responsible corresponding author is notified of the open access option, under the b-on agreement;​
  2. Upon validation of the OA choice, the article is immediately available (open) online on the publishers website;​
  3. In parallel, a local institutional contact person performs the validation of affiliation on the Elsevier Open Access Platform, EOAP;
  4. For GOA articles, the invoice is triggered upon affiliation verification, using the invoicing information provided by the author during the author journey¹
